A Christian Gives Kudos to My Book Review!

Several months ago I wrote a post showing off some of the kudos I've received on a few of my refutations I've written. At the Network54 forums I posted my review of David Marshall's book asking for any comments or criticisms.

A christian woman named Rhonda replied to my post and said how my refutation is "excellent"; that it's "such interesting material" and she "really enjoyed it." She also added how "the wheels of [her] brain have been turning since [she] started reading [my] work."

Wow is all I can say, and thank you very much! As I told her in response, nothing makes a writer feel better than someone who praises their work. With all of the name calling and insults I've received when I try to ask people to read my refutation, it's a very nice change of pace to have someone say nice things about me and my work (and this from a Christian!) and I greatly appreciate it. We may disagree about the existence of a god, but we agree on other things, like when she agreed that Marshall was biased.

That's what the world needs more than anything: open mindedness and an open and clear dialogue, unlike what I've experienced with the many christians at the amazon.com forums for almost the last two years...

I am happy that more people are reading my refutation of Marshall book, though. It seemed that many people simply wrote me off because of a few past mistakes I made in my original review of Marshall's book and didn't think I was a worthy opponent. Well, I sure made them think twice. I think one of the reasons many people were turned off (and several confirmed this) from my review was because of the harsh language used when addressing Marshall. But this is why I created a revised PDF version where I've cleaned up the language (the original in all it's vitriolic glory can still be viewed here) and hopefully people will actually read the thing now instead of reading a few paragraphs and complaining of the language. My arguments are excellent and I wished people would've focused on those instead of the language, but with the new cleaned up version hopefully it will get read more often. If it's one thing I love, it's exposing Marshall's distortions and errors for all to see.
