Varieties of Statism


A statist is defined as someone who favors the “concentration of economic controls and planning in the hands of a highly centralized government often extending to government ownership of industry.”

This is a humorous, but sadly very accurate, representation of the numerous forms statism takes.

  1. I swear I have seen a bigger version of this, and it's actually based on a drawing that was originally about libertarians.

  2. That's interesting, but I found that the vast majority of the "descriptions" were entirely inaccurate. Even hilariously inaccurate in some cases. However, the majority of the descriptions in the above cartoon aren't.
